Health Profiles – Creating/Obtaining

Use the Health Profile tool (http://www.nwph.net/life-expectancy/index.aspx) to get a generic profile based on postcode (in this case) of Old Swan HC (L13 2GA). This gives a good basic profile but also gives details of the Middle Super Output Area that Old Swan falls in. This is the key for obtaining local area stats from the Data Selector tool (http://nwpho.jmu-cph.net/New~chooser/geography.asp).

From this we can select Liverpool and grab health related data at a Middle Super Output Area level and decide whether to have it presented in real numbers or as rates and ratios.
